Sooo, I'm starting a 10 day minimum de-tox. That means no food, and only this 'special lemonade' I make every morning, and water, and tea, and salt washes, for the next 10 days, at least.

I JUST tried the salt wash, and... Uuugghhh. So damned nasty. I mean, I love salt, and it really wasn't all that salty, it was kinda nice now that I think back on it, but you have to drink 4 cups of that stuff. And I downed it as fast as I could - just to get it over with. You know that feeling where you're so full and you can actually feel whatever it is you just ingested RIGHT there at the back of your throat, well... Yeah. There ya go. That's what happened to me. It very nearly came up. Like, had I opened my mouth up wide, it would have gone in all directions.

The point of the de-tox is to de-toxify my body, getting all the nasty toxins and bad things out of myself... And in the process, one of the side-effects is losing weight, because of the lack of calorie intake. WHICH IS AWESOME.

WISH ME LUCK. I was supposed to start this past Thursday, but... I accidentally took a sip of a milkshake that day without even realizing it. Ahhh. So then I just ate that night. And, kept eating. Until I was able to work up enough nerve to try it again. I will do it this time. Food is one of my BIGGEST weaknesses, so. I'm going to get through this to prove to myself that I can.

ANYWAY, on to more pleasant things. Speaking of past-Thursdays, I got a new job this past Thursday, the 8th, at Gameworks. I'm one of the cardhost-thing-peoples. Woot! I started working at the venue on Thursday, and worked my way through until Sunday. 28hrs already. Compared to Abercrombie's 3hrs a night, and maybe 15hrs a week, that's awesome. Though the pay isn't as much... In fact, I don't really know how much I'm getting paid. I need to ask the GM. Lawl. D:
